Take-over of Container Terminal Beverwijk (CTB) by Ter Haak
Richard ter Haak joins forces with his son Michael ter Haak from the international container company CBOX Containers. In the year 2019, the 3rd and 4th generation ter Haak are working together in the field of container handling and transport. And will take over the activities of Container Terminal Beverwijk (CTB) on 1 April.
CTB can benefit from the Ter Haak terminals in Amsterdam and IJmuiden and the inland shipping services from BCA Intermodal. “By combining the activities, a more frequent sailing schedule is created to the various terminals in Rotterdam and Antwerp with fixed slots. This allows CTB to offer an even better service to its customers. ”Said Michael ter Haak.
The merger of activities has no further consequences for the Ter Haak and CTB terminals. Amsterdam, IJmuiden and Beverwijk remain part of the network.
